Handicap Care Hellas is a Greek non-governmental, non-profit making, public welfare organization. Has a Governing Board of 3 members and many working committees, and top leading body is the Members General Assembly.

H.C.H, through pioneering and innovative practices, attempts to cover the existing deficit of social responsibility. Its main objective is the re-establishment of the value of disability, through an anthropocentric although realistic approach, as a kind of life under special terms and conditions.
H.C.H's main objectives are: the study, submission, promotion, planning and implementation of educational, humanitarian, research and development programmes-projects, the implementation of supportive and promotional activities such as the development of innovative systems of advice and support aiming at the confrontation of the needs and the promotion of the abilities of people with disabilities in Greece as well as in the developing countries and the countries in transition
Those who are in unfavorable physical, social, psychological condition, including: persons with disabilities, women exposed to violence, migrants (especially disabled migrants)
Short organization description
H.C.H is an independent, non-profit, non governmental organization founded in 2003 and based in Athens, Greece. It focuses on the cultivation and distribution of innovative-anthropocentric approaches and the undertaking of activities of positive action aiming at the complete and equivalent social and professional inclusion of vulnerable social groups focusing in disable people. It participates in the activities of the Hellenic Federation of Voluntary Non Governmental Organizations, the Hellenic Platform of Development NGOs (member of CONCORD), and it is registered in the Greek Foreign Ministry Registry of NGOs and other Civil Society Agencies, as well as in the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity.
H.C.H is an initiative of a team of young people - in their majority social scientists - with physical disabilities, who have a regular job and at the same time participate in many social, athletic and cultural activities. With high scientific training and experience in various fields such as sociology, education, psychology, new technologies, management, corporate organisation and development, human resources and international and European programmes, the members of Handicap Care Hellas constitute a dynamic operational team of executives who have the ability to plan a variety of research programmes and to implement pilot projects that aim at the improvement of quality of life and the social and professional inclusion for vulnerable social groups.

Objectives and results of the action: Record and registry of all institutions, NGOs and Unions at the territory of the municipality which are associated with migrants, refugees, unemployed people, other vulnerable groups, disabled people ; record their needs and problems and their operational status and creation of an office for networking them and promote their work to the local society and create public awareness.
